The human world and the animal kingdom collide in this spectacular adventure of one boy’s journey through the tropical Indian jungle. Interweaving live music with stunning puppetry and energetic physical performance, this celebration of Rudyard Kipling’s enduring and iconic tale should not be missed this Christmas.

Lost in the jungle as a baby, Mowgli is taken in by mother-wolf and raised as her own but the jungle is no place for a man-cub and as Mowgli starts to become a man, the animals begin to doubt his acceptance of the Jungle Law. Buoyed by the distrust of Mowgli the fearsome Shere Khan resolves to track him down, for no man-child can ever truly live by the laws of the Jungle and for that reason he should not live at all. But Mowgli is watched over by a gracious panther and a heavy-weight bear who determine to protect him at all costs, be it from the breathtaking squeeze of a boa-constrictor, from the money loving dancing monkeys or the blood thirsty roar of the evil Shere Khan.

The Jungle Book is directed by Liam Steel, one of the UK’s most exciting and imaginative physical performers and directors. His recent work includes the musical staging and choreography for the film version of LES MISéRABLES. Music is composed by award winning Niraj Chag.

Embrace the sights, sounds and heat of the jungle for the perfect family escape this Christmas – just watch out for Tigers!
